Smith Funeral Home, Broadway Inc. is watching all health updates from the CDC, and the State of North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.  Safety of the families we serve, as well as the community and our funeral home staff are our priority. Recently Governor Roy Cooper issued an executive order and the CDC has set forth guidelines for public gatherings. The rules apply to funeral services and visitation services.   As a result, we are  offering limited services until further notice.  This includes graveside funeral services and private viewings for immediate family only.  We encourage friends to utilize our website to leave condolences for families at this time.  We know this is a stressful situation for all involved and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  We will continue to monitor updates and make adjustments as needed.  We will do our part to limit the spread of this virus while continuing to serve our families and our community.
