Alice Virginia Stewart Crawford, age 62 of Broadway, died Monday (5/27/2013). She was born in Lee County, daughter of the late Emory Stewart and Adeline Worley Stewart. She as preceded in death by her parents and her sister Tootie Eatmon. She was an employee of 3-M. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm Thursday at the Southside Baptist Church in Broadway with Rev. Tom Welborn officiating. Burial will follow in the Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Cary, NC. Surviving are her son Dennis Crawford and wife Karren of Cary, NC; Sisters Arlene Patterson and husband Russell of Broadway, NC, Betty Sue Gentry and husband Frank of Greenville, SC, JoAnn Hardy of Broadway, NC and Phyllis "Molly" Palmer and husband Aubrey of Gulf, NC; Grandchildren Sydney Crawford, Kayla Crawford, Christian Crawford and Riley Crawford. Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
