Aliyah Arion Matthews, age 21 of Broadway passed away on Monday (10/31/2022) from a motor vehicle accident. She was born on February 9, 2001, daughter of Jennifer Rowe Taylor and Sean Dimitris Matthews.  Aliyah was a graduate of Western Harnett High School, Class of 2019.  She loved to play volleyball and spending time with her son.  A celebration of life gathering will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 4-6pm at the Holly Springs Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.  The family request that you wear bright happy colors to honor Aliyah.  Surviving is her mother, Jennifer Taylor (Joseph) of Broadway, NC.  father, Sean Matthews of Sanford, NC; son, Jarion Samir Jackson and his father, Jarvis Jackson Jr. of Sanford, NC, brothers, Sean Matthews Jr. of Sanford, NC, Joseph Clayton Taylor Jr. of Broadway, NC and Christian Matthews of Sanford, NC.  Maternal Grandmother, Susan Rowe of Sanford, NC.  Paternal grandparents, Thomas and Willie Matthews of Sanford, NC and maternal great-grandmother, Evelyn Castleberry King of Apex, NC.
