April Mashburn Brown, age 52, of Sanford, passed away on Friday (8/8/2025) at her home.  She was born on May 1, 1973, daughter of the late James "Burt" Mashburn and Mary King Mashburn.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  April was a member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church, enjoyed crafting and loved spending time with her family.  Surviving is her husband, Robbie Brown of the home; son, Caleb W. Mashburn of Sanford, NC; brother, Tommy Mashburn and wife Christa of Sanford, NC; mother-in-law, Frances Brown of Broadway, NC; nephews, Ayden Mashburn, Carter Mashburn, Blake Mashburn and Grant Williams; niece, Holly Hedgepath and husband Ryan and great-niece, Makenzie Hedgepath.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday (8/16/2025) at 11am at the Calvary United Pentecostal Church, 6416 Lemon Springs Road, Sanford, NC 27332 with Rev. Steve Simpson, Rev. Lisa Reddy and Rev. Melvin Reddy officiating.      The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at 300 E.
