Araceli Perez Marquez, age 45 of Lillington,NC, died Monday (7/15/2013) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. She was born in Texococ Tetlatlahuca Tiaxcala, Mexico on February 4, 1968, daughter of the late Eulalio Marquez and Candida Perez. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11:00am Friday at the Saint Stephens Catholic Church with Father Robert Ippolito officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Mexico. Surviving are her husband Reynaldo Lucas Romero of the home; Daughter Jovanna Romero Marquez of Sanford, NC; Son Octavio Romero Marquez of Broadway, NC; Sister Letticia Perez Marquez of Mexico and brother Zenovo Marquez Perez of Mexico, and one granddaughter. The family is receiving friends at the family home on Thursday from 5:30pm - 9:00am. Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
