Barbara Wilder Griffin, age 75 of Broadway, died Friday (7/17/2015) at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. She was born on November 7, 1939, in Harlan County, KY, daughter of the late Walter Wilder and Lucy Smith Wilder. She was preceded in death by her parents, Siblings Walter Wilder Jr., Clark Wilder, Gertrude Roper, Jean Holt and an infant daughter, Barbara Diana Griffin. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am Tuesday at the Juniper Springs Baptist Church with Rev. John Hackney officiating. Burial will follow in the Broadway Town Cemetery. Surviving is her husband Harold Griffin of the home; Daughter Kristy Davis and husband Hal of Broadway, NC; Son Ken Griffin of Alexandria, VA; Sister Wanda Sue Licklider of Dayton, Ohio and five grandchildren Hannah Griffin, Ali Davis, Bailey Griffin, Cameron Griffin and Virginia Griffin. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.
