Barbara Ann Reynolds Mayer, age 83 of Cameron, passed away on Thursday (8/17/2023) at Lower Cape Fear Life Care in Wilmington.  She was born on January 29, 1940, daughter of the late Lenuel Tilden Reynolds and Helen Alberta Taylor Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Daniel Mayer; daughters,  Shelly Morris, Lana Wilhoit and her grandson, Chris Wilhoit.  Surviving are her daughters, Jan Letterman (Mike) of Whitehouse, TN and Angela Penuel of Virginia.  Son, Kenneth "Donny" Terrell of Cameron, NC; Sisters, Judith Cruise of Georgia, Sheril Peterson of North Dakota; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted at 4pm Sunday (8/20/2023) at Countryside Presbyterian Church with Rev.
