Bartola Aguirre Sanchez, age 85 of Sanford, died Saturday (12/2/2017) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. She was born in Mexico, daughter of the late Vicente Aguirre and Natividad Sanchez. Funeral services will be conducted at 10am Saturday at the Iglesias de Cristo with Pastor Quintin Avila and Pastor Hoguer Benitez officiating. Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery at 1:30 pm . Surviving are her daughters, Bertha Mendoza and Claudia Rubio both of Sanford, NC and Rufina Mendoza and Jenoveva Mendoza both of Mexico. Sons, Martimiano Mendoza and Martin Mendoza both of Sanford, NC. Brother Pedro Aguirre Sanchez of Sanford, NC and 20 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Friday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.
