Benjamin Diesel Stafford, age 12 of Broadway, died Thursday (4/14/2016). He was born in Lee County on August 23, 2003, son of Brian Stafford and Katrina Jeffries Stafford. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mildred Jeffries. Ben was a student at Western Harnett Middle School where he was a member of the shooting and football teams. He was a member of the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church and he loved fishing, hunting, baseball and helping his daddy on the farm. Graveside funerals services will be conducted at 2:00pm Sunday at the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Houston officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the family home. Surviving are his parents, Brian and Katrina Jeffries Stafford of the home; Sister Anna Stafford of the home; Maternal Grandfather, Jay Jeffries of Broadway, NC.
