Sanford:  Benny Gray Flow

Benny Gray Flow, age 82 of Sanford NC, passed away at his home on Tuesday (9/24/2024) surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Flow was born in Lee County, NC on September 15,1942 son of Samuel Franklin Flow and Lola Gray Council Flow. Benny was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He loved music. He was a great musician especially string instruments. He was a great carpenter. He enjoyed carving wood and was great at anything that he chose to set out to do. Benny loved everyone. He had a million dollar smile. He was a wonderful teacher and provider. He was a devoted family member to his family. Benny was preceded in death by his parents; Samuel Franklin Flow and Lola Gray Council Flow. Sister; Charmion Spainhour and son-in-law Larry Spainhour, Brother Ray Flow; brother-in-law Bret Flora and Joe Savell. Benny is survived by his wife Brenda Kay Flow of the home. Daughters; Tammy Holmes (Kevin Spivey) of Sanford, NC; Kathy Holmes Berryman (Daniel Forester) of Sanford; Angie Holmes (Billy Stephens) of Sanford ; Sons, Jerry Holmes (Crystal) of Lemon Springs, NC ; Jordan Conners, Shain Flow and Tommy Mansfield Brother; Tony Flow (Becky) of Tenn; Sisters; Jenette Savell of Florida; Patricia Flora of Fla. Nine Grandchildren, Fifteen Great-Grandchildren, five nieces, seven nephews, six grand-nephews and nieces; two great grand- nephews and one grand-niece.
