Bessie Barger Lytle, age 76, of 291 Farmer Road, Carthage, died Tuesday (7/31/2012) at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Stanford "Stan" Barger and Elsie Martin Barger. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Kathleen B. Sizemore. She loved serving the Lord. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am Friday at the Emmauel Baptist Church in Carthage with Pastor Eugene Ussery and Pastor John Chavis officiaiting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are her husband Jimmy H. Lytle of the home; Daughters Patricia Phillips and husband Steven of Sanford, North Carolina and Netha Cox of Sanford, North Carolina; Sister Tootsie Gay of London, Kentucky; Brothers Eugene Barger of Foley, Alabama and Fred Barger of Dillsboro, Indiana. Five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday evening at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carthage.
