Birthe Hesselund Thystrup, age 87 of North Webster, Indiana, died Saturday (2/12/2022) at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC.  She was born on August 22, 1934 in Denmark, daughter of the late Hildur Pedersen and Martha Hesselund Pedersen.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Benjamin Thystrup.  Memorial services will be held at a later date in Indiana.  Surviving are her sons, Tommy Thystrup (Pia) of Broadway, NC, Bo Thystrup (Mona) of Ligoiner, Indiana and Dan Thystrup (Pia) of North Webster, Indiana.  Brother, Bent Pedersen of Sundholmen, Sweden; grandchildren, Michelle Thystrup-Hamilton, Melanie Thystrup Godfrey, Melissa Thystrup, Nicklas Thystrup, Jacob Thystrup, Jennifer Thystrup, Thomas Thystrup and three great grandchildren.  Online condolonces can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
