Bobbie Lee Seagroves Thomas, age 85 of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday (6/17/2020) at The Addison of Fuquay-Varina.  She was born in Lee County on April 18, 1935, daughter of the late Charlie Hubert Seagroves and Evelyn Marie Badgett Sellars.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Wilbur F. "Bud" Thomas.  Bobbie was a member of Shallow Well Church, the Office Manager at Womble Chevrolet, and a Librarian at West Lee Middle School for many years.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Sunday at the Shallow Well Church Cemetery with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating.  Surviving are her daughter Sandra Marie Thomas (Jeff Lipack) of Fuquay -Varina, NC.  Son, Jimmy Gray Thomas (Charlotte) of Mooresville, NC, sister Janice Seagroves Johnston of Goldston, NC and grandchildren Hannah Elizabeth Thomas, Samuel Lee Thomas, and Alexis Kathryn Thomas.  Friends and family may visit the Smith Funeral Home from 3-5pm on Saturday and from 9am-1pm on Sunday to sign the register and pay their respects.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
