Bonnie McNeill Gaster, age 81, of Broadway passed away at her home on May 18, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 23, 1944 in Harnett County, daughter of the late Robert George McNeill and Adelaide Buchanan McNeill. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Shelby Jean McLeod and Barbara Ann Kelly; son, Neil Allen Thomas III and special nephew Jeffrey McLeod.  She is survived by her daughter, Kelli Rattz (Jimbo) of The US Virgin Islands; sister, Judy Cox of Sanford along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; special friends from Coty  Andy O'Sullivan, Joe Colandro, and Tom Zone (AKA Bon Bon's chauffeur) and Chris Morris from Easter Seals Port Health - Lee County. Bonnie was retired from Coty after many years of service. She was a faithful member of the Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church family and friends were important to her. She enjoyed working in the yard and loved to decorate for Christmas. She loved to travel, go dancing and listen to the ocean. She loved life and in the midst of life was her love for Duke Blue Devil Basketball. If they were playing, it was a sure bet that she was watching. A celebration of life service will be at Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church on Friday (5/22/2026) at 2:00 pm with Rev. Doug Houston officiating.   Burial will follow at the Mt Pisgah Presbyterian Cemetery. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall.
