Brenda Cobb Fulmer, age 83 of Broadway, passed away on Sunday (1/5/2025) at her home.  She was born in Laurens County, South Carolina, daughter of the late John Dewey Cobb and Ruth Roberts Cobb.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Cecil Buren "Buddy" Fulmer.  Brenda was the owner for many years of Yesterdays Thoughts Book Exchange in Hendersonville, NC. She was a member of Salem Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed spending time at the beach.  Brenda loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren gave her a lot of joy and happiness.  Surviving is her sons, Buren Fulmer and wife Virginia of Broadway, NC and Brian Fulmer and wife Tara of Mill Spring, NC; grandchildren, Kyle Fulmer,  Emrie Fulmer and sisters, Johnette Smith of Spartanburg, SC, Mae Boone of Flat Rock, NC, Donna Massey of Flat Rock, NC and Fran Patton and husband Gerald of Asheville, NC.  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Salem Presbyterian Church, c/o Debbye Sloan, 8304 Hillcrest Farm Road, Sanford, NC 27330 or to the Lee County Enrichment Center, 1615 S. 3rd St. Sanford, NC 27330 in Brenda's memory.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com  Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home, Broadway Inc.
