Brian Joshua Kindle, age 31 of Broadway, passed away on Thursday (12/24/2020) at his home.  He was born on April 4, 1989, son of Thomas Duane Kindle and Deborah Atkins Kindle. He was preceded in death by his special family members, Elmer Hunter Sr. and Virginia Hunter, paternal grandmother, Mae Lou Kindle and maternal grandmother, Betty Lou Dickens.   Brian was a 2007 graduate of Lee County High School.  He loved to help others and he never met a stranger.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Monday at Baptist Chapel Church with Rev. Alex Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in the Baptist Chapel Church Cemetery. Surviving are his parents, Thomas Kindle of Southern Pines, NC and Deborah A. Kindle of Broadway, NC.  Brother, Adam Kindle and wife Kelci of Broadway, NC.  Paternal grandfather, David Kindle of Henderson, KY. Aunts and Uncles, Annette Hockaday and husband Alan and their son, Brent Hockaday and his wife April and their children, Blaire and Grant, Elmer Hunter Jr. and wife Janet and their family, Shawn Hunter and wife Wendy and their children, Madison Flood and husband Kyle, Conley Hunter, and Dacia LaBounty and her son Corbin LaBounty,  Teresa Myers and family, David Kindle Jr. and wife Karen and family and Debi Scoville and husband Kevin and family and countless friends.      Friends may visit the Smith Funeral Home on Sunday between the hours of 1pm-3pm and on Monday from 9am-12pm to sign the register.   Brian will lie in state at Baptist Chapel Church on Monday, one hour prior to the service.  Social distancing guidelines will be followed and mask are required for the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Behavioral Health Innovators.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
