Brian Keith Stafford, age 46 of Broadway, died Monday (9/24/2018).  He was born in Lee County, son of Brenda Hall Fletcher and the late Glenn Stafford. He was preceded in death by his father and his son Benjamin Diesel Stafford.   Brian was the owner and operator of Stafford Grading Co. and also was a farmer.  He was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church where he had served as an Elder.  Brian loved riding his Harley Davidson, was a wonderful father to his children and was a friend to everyone who knew him.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11am Friday at the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Houston officiating.  Surviving are his mother Brenda Fletcher and husband Jim of Greenville, NC.  Wife, Katrina Jeffries Stafford of the home.  Daughter Anna Stafford of the home.  Sister Kacie Layton and husband Richard of Greenville, NC.  Father in law Jay Jeffries of Broadway, NC.   Brother in law Scott Jeffries and wife Amanda of Erwin, NC and nieces and nephews Mallary Caraway, Holden Caraway and Hunter Layton.  Visitation services will be held on Thursday from 4-6pm at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
