Callie Buchanan Wilson, age 75 of Broadway, died Sunday (6/1/2014) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. She was born in Harnett County, daughter of the late Edgar Jefferson Buchanan and Beulah Hallman Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Beatrice Adams. She retired from nursing after 30 years of service and was a member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00pm Thursday at the Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Parsons and Rev. Wayne O'Quinn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are her sons David Yarborough, Allen Marion, Danny Marion, Tim Marion (Santa) and Connie Marion of Broadway, NC; Sisters Geneva Key of Broadway, NC and Faye Richardson of Sanford, NC; Ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday evening at the Holly Springs Baptist Church Multi-purpose building. Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
