Carson Fisher Ferguson, age 5 months, passed away on Sunday (12/6/2015) at UNC Hospitals with his family by his side. He was born on June 22, 2015, son of Jeffery Scott Ferguson Jr. and Colleen Karson Oldham Ferguson. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents Ella Gentry Smith, Mae Crutchfield Poe and Arthur M. Poe Sr. Paternal great great grandmothers Ann R. Bushong, Neva D. Meier and paternal great grandfather Arthur Meier. Maternal great uncles, Desmond Gray Smith Jr., Ronald Eugene Munday Sr. and Ray Thomas Smith, and Paternal Great Aunt Debra M. Jordan. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2:00pm at the Haywood Independent Bible Church with Rev. Benny Oakes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
