Catherine Wilson Wicker, age 68 of Sanford, died Friday (9/7/2012) at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. She was born on January 6, 1944, daughter of the late Frankie Lee Wilson and Annie Laura Alman Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Dot Bodenhammer and sister in law Lucille M. Wilson. Funeral services will be conducted at 3pm Sunday at the Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are her husband Bobby Wicker of the home; daughter Gina Wicker of Sanford, NC; Sister Annie Jane Ganzel of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; Brothers Tommy Wilson and wife Luella of Sanford, NC, Larry Wilson and wife Nancy of Mamers, NC, Ronnie Wilson and wife Michelle of Broadway, NC, Ray Wilson of Sanford, NC and Neil Wilson and wife Lisa of Sanford, NC; two grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Saturday evening at the Holly Springs Baptist Church Multi-purpose building. Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
