Cathy Elise Furmage, age 63 of Sanford, passed away on Monday (1/2/2023) at the Jim and Betsy Bryan SECU Hospice House in Pittsboro.  She was born in Danville, Virginia, daughter of Bonita Brandon Robinson and the late Weldon Douglas Robinson.  She was preceded in death by her father.  Cathy was devoted to her family and grandchildren, was a UNC fan and loved to travel and take vacations.  The family will receive friends on Friday (1/6/2023) from 1:00-2:00pm at New Life Fellowship Church in Olivia. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm with Rev. Ronnie Whitaker officiating.
