Charlie Bert Sloan IV. age 47 of Broadway, passed away at his home. He was born in Lee County on  December 1,1974 son of Charlie Bert Sloan, III. and Donna S. Gendics. Charlie was preceded in death by his father and his infant son, Chaz Worthington Sloan.  He enjoyed working in construction and wood working.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2pm at Juniper Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne O'Quinn and Pastor Eddie Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Juniper Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Charlie is survived by his mother, Donna Gendics (Joe) of Sanford, NC. Daughter, Hope Marie Sloan of Chatsworth, GA. Son, Charlie Brent Sloan of Broadway, NC.  Sisters, Wendy Sloan Phillips (Dusty) of Broadway, NC, Tammy Sloan Palmieri (Scott) of Holly Springs, NC and his maternal grandmother, Jackie Thomas of Broadway, NC.
