Christina Lane Hunter, age 45 of Sanford, died Sunday (12/14/2014) at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. She was a member of the Salem Presbyterian Church and a dental assistant at Dr. Dawn Moretz, DDS Office. Christy was a loving mother, sister, daughter, grammy and friend to all that knew her. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her twin brother Scotty Hunter. A private family memorial service will be held. Surviving are her parents Denny and Brenda Hunter of Sanford, NC; Son Michael Scott Phillips of Sanford, NC; Sisters Amy Hunter Carter and husband Jeff of Sanford, NC and Jessica Copeland Hunter Stewart and husband Brian of Tryon, NC; Fiancé Stan Cameron of Sanford, NC and one granddaughter Marina Byrd Phillips.
