Christine Gore McMillan, age 88 of Sanford, went to be with the Lord in the presence of her family, on Friday (9/9/2022).  She was born in Horry Co, South Carolina, daughter of the late Christopher Columbus Gore and Gertrude Wright Gore.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter H. McMillan and step-son, Ronnie McMillan.  Christine loved flowers, birds, and playing the piano.  She enjoyed cooking and was a very talented artist.  Funeral service will be on Tuesday at 11:00am at Northview Christian Church with Rev. Mike Johnson officiating.  Entombment will follow at Lee Memory Gardens Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am Tuesday, at the Northview Christian Church Fellowship Hall.  Surviving is her daughter, Pamela Brown of Sanford, NC.  Son, Harold Grainger (Darlene) of Cameron, NC.  Step-children, Pam Vulgomore of Ohio and Steve McMillan of Holden Beach, NC.  Brother, C.C. Gore (Peggy) of Loris, SC, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations are made to Northview Christian Church.
