Christine Womack Patterson , age 95 of Broadway, passed away at her home on Monday, May 15, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born June 19, 1927. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alton Womack and Janie Lett Womack, Her husband, Thurman Patterson, Son, Russell Patterson, Grandson, Steven Patterson, Sisters and Brothers, Clara Lee Schooley, Alma Patterson, Laurie Hickman, Sam Womack, Pete Womack and Britton Womack. Surviving is her daughter, Glenda (Larry) Thomas of Olivia and son Albert (Cathy) Patterson of Broadway, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and seven great-great- grandchildren. Mrs. Patterson was the oldest member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. She loved to do quilting, gardening and cooking. She was devoted to her family, community and church family. She loved to show people love and kindness. Family will receive friends on Wednesday (5/17/2023) from 6-8 pm in the multi-purpose center of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Thursday (5/18/2023) beginning at 2 pm at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Parson and Rev. Scott Yow officiating.
