Clara Jean Booth Buchanan, age 74 of Sanford, died Wednesday (6/13/2018) at First Health Hospice and Palliative Care in Pinehurst. She was born in Moore County, daughter of the late James Aubrey Booth and Annie Ruth Barker Booth. She was preceded in death by her parents and was a member of the Jonesboro United Methodist Church. Clara loved to cross stitch, carve wood, was an avid reader and loved sending cards to her family and friends. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11am at Lee Memory Gardens with Brad Butler officiating. Surviving is her daughter Patsy Arlene Simpson Spiotto of Hollywood, Fla.
