Clint Lynn Johnson, age 70 of Broadway, passed away on Saturday (3/28/2026).  He was born in Lee County, son of the late Joffre Lance Johnson Sr. and Ruby Rowena Turner Johnson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Joffre Johnson Jr., Richard Franklin Johnson and a baby sister who passed away at birth.  Clint worked for many years in the fire safety industry and enjoyed going fishing and coon hunting.  He is survived by his son, Clinton Lynn Johnson (Brandy Lynn) of Cameron, NC; daughters, Kimberly Faye Dean (Brian) of Lillington, NC and Sherry Swann (Charles) of Sanford, NC; sisters, Faye Conklin, Patsy Payne, Brenda Bordwell and Rachel Pattishall of Sanford, NC and Margaret Lemons of Broadway, NC; brothers, Lonnie Johnson of Broadway, NC, Glenn Johnson of Sanford, NC, Allen Johnson of Durham, NC and Jerry Johnson of Sanford, NC; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  A graveside funeral service will be held at Broadway Town Cemetery on Wednesday (4/1/2026) at 2pm.  The family will receive friends at the home of Sherry Swann.  In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial gifts be made in Clint's memory to Smith Funeral Home, Broadway to assist the family with funeral expenses.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com   Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home, Broadway Inc.
