Cynthia Marie McDowell McNeill, age 53 of Bunnlevel, died Monday (3/25/2019) at her home.  She was born in Lee County, daughter of Doris Parrish Kelly and the late James McDowell.  She was preceded in death by her father.  One of Cynthia's greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren.  Memorial services will be held on Saturday (3/30/2019) 12:00 pm at the Hunt Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Thomas officiating.  Surviving is her mother Doris Kelly of Sanford, NC.  Husband Kevin Lee McNeill of the home.  Sons John Eric Phillips of Broadway, NC and James Christopher Phillips of Asheville, NC.  Step-daughter Amanda McNeill of Houston, Texas.  Sister Kathy Tobias of Sanford, NC and brother Raymond McDowell of Sanford, NC.  Grandchildren Adrianna Spear, Kaylee Phillips, Riley Phillips, Charlie Lewis and Easton Lewis.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am -12:00 pm one hour prior to the memorial service on Saturday at the Hunt Springs Baptist Church.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
