Dale Wayne Colline, age 62, of Broadway passed away at Central Carolina Hospital on January 7, 2026. He was born October 25, 1963 in Dunn, North Carolina, son of Joseph William Collins and Fannie Beth Hawley Collins. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Zelma Rose Collins. As a younger man, Dale loved to spend time in the mountains of North Carolina.  He enjoyed time hunting, fishing, and just being outside among nature. According to family Dale was really a kid at heart and keeping his family laughing was a favorite pastime. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Wanda Kaye Collins of Broadway, and his brother Rickey Collins of Sanford. Also surviving is one nephew and several nieces. Family was important to Dale and he loved them all.  A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday (1/17/2026) at 2pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway.
