Danny Joe Davis, age 56 of Sanford, died Sunday (3/5/2017) at his home. He was born on August 13, 1960, son of the late Joe Conner Davis and Gladys Angel Davis Waddell. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be conducted at 4pm Thursday at the New Covenant Community Church with Rev. Douglas Garner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving is his wife Peggy Davis of Sanford, NC. Children, Melissa Ingram, Daniel Joseph Davis and Derek Davis. Sisters Connie Stephenson of Pine Bluff, NC and Amanda Childers of Sanford, NC; brother Raymond Davis of Cameron and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3-4pm, one hour prior to the funeral service at the New Covenant Community Church.
