Danny Lee Marion, age 57 of Broadway, died Thursday (8/5/2021).  He was born in Lee County on November 12, 1963, son of the late Wade Allen Marion and Callie Buchanan Marion Wilson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, David Yarbrough and Wade Allen Marion Jr.  Danny loved the outdoors especially fishing.  When he and his brothers were younger, they would walk for hours along the river fishing and spending time together.  Later, he shared his loved for fishing with his grandson.  Memorial service will be conducted at 4pm Friday (8/13/2021) at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Parsons officiating.  Surviving is his daughter, Danielle Marion and husband Mike of Broadway and their children, Ronin and Desmond.  Brothers, Tim Marion and wife Santa of Broadway, NC and Connie Marion of Broadway, NC. Step-mother, Patsy Marion of Cameron, NC and her children Michelle Brown and Garrett Arnold of Sanford, NC.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Smith Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
