Darryl Edmond Perdue Sr., age 61 of Sanford, died Saturday, December 25 ^th , 2021 at Moore Regional Hospital with his wife and children by his side.  He was born in Guilford County, NC on March 12, 1960 to the late Edward and Jeanne Perdue.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Perdue.  Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday (12/29/2021) at 11:00 am at Swanns Station Baptist Church with Pastor Russell Blackmon and Pastor Curtis Norris officiating.  Burial will follow in Cameron Grove Cemetery.  Surviving is his wife, Brenda Godwin Perdue of the home.  Daughter, Brooke Wickman and husband Jeffery.  Son, D.J. Perdue, and daughter, Eliza Perdue.  Grandsons, Jayden and Jaxon Wickman and Hudson Perdue.  Special nephew, Doug Perdue Jr. and siblings, Karen Perdue, Sharon Mason, Sheryl Smith and Douglas Perdue.  Aunt Shirley Calendine and husband Joe, In-laws Debra Morrison and husband Harris and many beloved nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Brooke Wickman.
