David Kent "Bodie" Bodenhamer died on September 13, 2023 in Dunedin, Florida where he had made his home for over 40 years.  A native of Kernersville, NC, David was born on March 10, 1954 to Jimmie Earl "Tom" Bodenhamer and Jeanne Gray West, both preceding in death.  He was also preceded by a baby son, baby brother and paternal grandparents, Francis and Mabel Bodenhamer, maternal grandparents Rev. Harrison and Nellie West and other family members.

David is survived by two uncles Harold West, Kernersville and Harold "Bo" Bodenhamer, Trinity, NC, aunt Lynne West Green, Broadway, NC, numerous loving cousins and special friends near and far.

David leaves special memories to all who knew and love him.  He blessed all with his generosity, kindness and love.  Dear David/Bodie, you will be forever remembered!

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, 1:00pm at Eastlawn Cemetery, Kernersville, NC.  Family will greet friends following the service.
