David James O'Quinn, age 70 of Broadway, passed away on Wednesday (5/21/2025) at Emerald Health and Rehab in Lillington.  He was born in Lee County, son of the late J.C. O'Quinn and Hattie "Pat" Laws O'Quinn He was preceded in death by his parents.  David loved sports especially all things Carolina.  One of his favorite activities was attending car shows in his 1972 Chevelle.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and was one of a kind, you simply didn't find a better man.  Surviving is his wife, Debbie Gilmore O'Quinn of the home; stepdaughter, Brandi Dunn (Johnathan) of Broadway, NC; stepson, B.J. Dunn (Danielle) of Sanford, NC; sister, Connie Tacia (Charles) of Sanford, NC; grandchildren, Autumn Rose, Tyson Pace, Lil B.J. Dunn, Lilly Dunn, Levi Dunn and several nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, (5/25/2025) at 2:00 pm at the Swanns Station Baptist Church and funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm with Rev.
