David Gene Faircloth Sr., age 82 of Sanford, died Monday (2/7/2022) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford.  He was born on September 14, 1939, son of the late Marvin McKinley Faircloth and Mary Katherine Howard Faircloth.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Cecil Faircloth and Marvin Faircloth Jr. and his wife Cleta Faircloth.  No services will be held at this time.  Surviving is his wife, Mary Flitcraft Faircloth of the home.  Daughters, Kisha Lucas of Lillington, NC and Kim Lopez; son, David Gene Faircloth Jr. of Lillington, NC.  Sister, Mary Magdalene Booth (Ken) of Eolga, West Virginia; brother, Bud Faircloth (Catherine) of Magnolia, Delaware and his sister-in-law, Amy Faircloth of Camden, Delaware and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
