Deborah Ann Barton Erickson, age 46 of Broadway, died Sunday (12/23/2012) at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. She was born on September 22, 1966, daughter of Patricia Ann Elliott Counts and the late Randall Bruce Barton. She was preceded in death by her father, her son John Francis Martin Jr. and her dad Norman Anderson. Memorial service will be held on Saturday January 5th, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garland Smith officiaiting. Surviving are her mother, Patricia Counts of St. Louis, Missouri, Husband Gerald Erickson of Sanford, NC; Daughter Jackie Johnson and husband Robert of Lillington, NC; Son Cody Erickson of Sanford, NC; Brothers Charles Barton of Broadway, NC and Randall Barton of Alexandria, VA; Fiance Ken Terhune and his sons Zach Terhune and Dustin Terhune of Broadway, NC; Granddaughters Aubree Lynn Johnson and Autumn Nicole Johnson; Nephew Casey Barton and Nieces Alexa Barton and Morgan Harrington. Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
