Debra Buchanan Coore, age 66 of Sanford, died Friday (9/12/2014) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. She was born in Lee County, daughter of the late Lee Buchanan and Mildred Hobson Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Dennis Lee Buchanan. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Monday at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway with Rev. Jerry Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Surviving is her husband Donnie Coore of the home; Daughters Melissa Douglas and husband Johnny of Sanford, NC, Michelle Coore of Sanford, NC and one grandson Harley S. Douglas. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Sunday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.
