Dennis LeRoy Shorb, age 63 of Sanford, passed away on Sunday (9/1/2024) at his home.  He was born on September 21, 1960, son of the late Paul Shorb and Fayne Louise Anthony Gochenour.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Glenn Shorb, daughter, Dana Shorb and grandsons, Aiden Smith and Robbie Smith.  Dennis enjoyed working in the yard, he liked turtles and birds and spending time with his family.  There will be no services held at this time.  Surviving is his wife, Sally Knight of Sanford, NC; Daughters, Danielle Smith (Jason) of Broadway, NC and Michelle Musselwhite (Howard) of Broadway, NC.  Son, Thomas Shorb (Amme)  of Sanford, NC; sisters, Ruth Sharp of Sanford, NC, Mary Smith of Sanford, NC, and Darlene Smith of Pennsylvania; brothers, Bill Shorb and Paul Shorb of Sanford, NC and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home, Broadway Inc.
