Donald William Wooster, age 71 of Fayetteville, died Tuesday (10/19/2021) at Wilkes Regional Medical Center in North Wilkesboro, NC.  He was born on June 28, 1950, son of the late John J. Wooster and Joyce Childress Wooster. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Chester Wooster.   For years, Don was general manager of several hotels in the Fayetteville area.  He retired from Pet Dairy in December 2015.  After retirement he and Sue loved traveling across the United States of America.  Donald was a Veteran of the United States Army, Past Master of Phoenix Masonic Lodge #8 and served as Grand Commander for the York Rite of North Carolina.  He was also a member of the Scottish Rite- Valley of New Bern where he was a Knight Commander Court of Honor and Past President of the Cumberland County Scottish Rite Club.  Member of the Sudan Shriners- New Bern and served as Past President of the Hope Mills Shrine Club. Member of the Shamrock Thistle and Rose Council #2, A.M.D. Valley of Cape Fear #24 and the York Rite College #69 in Raleigh.   Memorial and Masonic services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday (10/27/2021) at Phoenix Lodge #8, 221 Mason Street Fayetteville, NC.  Surviving is his wife, Susan Dean Wooster of the home.  Daughter, Johnna Wooster King and husband Jeremy of Fayetteville, NC.  Brother, Robert Lee Wooster of Griffin, GA, grandchildren Justin David King, Jarret Donald King and wife Shelby, Juleigh Hannah King and great-grandchildren, Jasper King and Annabelle Palenzuela.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
