Donna Sloan Mabe, age 64 of Sanford, died Friday (10/30/2020) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford.  She was born in Lee County, daughter of the late James Archie Sloan Sr. and Geraldine Womack Sloan.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Donna enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her beloved husband Sam, her children and her grandchildren.  She loved her animals, especially her dogs and her goldfish.  A service for family and friends will be held at the home of Karen and Bobby McNeill on Sunday (11/1/2020) from 2-4pm. The family ask that mask are worn when visiting the home.     Surviving is her husband of 48 years, Sam Mabe of the home.  Daughter, Karen McNeill and husband Bobby of Sanford.  Son, William Nicholas Mabe Sr. of Sanford.  Brother Bobby Sloan and wife Carol of Goldston and grandchildren Tyler Perdue, Crystal Lynn Mabe, Samantha Nicole Mabe, William Nicholas Mabe Jr., Kasey Elizabeth McNeill, and Karly Leeann McNeill.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
