Dorothy Roberts Cummings, age 73 of Sanford, died Sunday (3/26/2017) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. She was born in Harnett County, daughter of the late Euette Martin Roberts Sr. and Sarah Margaret Stewart Roberts. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother James M. Roberts. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00pm Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway with Rev. Bill Spencer officiating. Surviving is her daughter Angela Minzer and husband Mark of Fuquay Varina, NC and grandson, Ryan Forest Truelove. Sisters Claudia R. Smith and husband Ray of Sanford, NC and Sandra R. Patterson and husband Ed of Broadway, NC. Brothers, E.M.Roberts Jr. of Broadway, NC and Clyde Roberts of Oriental, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1-2pm on Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home and other times at the home of Ed and Sandra Patterson.
