Douglas Ray Vickers, age 61 of Asheboro, died Thursday (1/11/2018) at High Point Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 31, 1956, son of the late Garlan R. Vickers and Mary Ingold Vickers. He was preceded in death by his parents and Brother Robert E. Vickers. Graveside memorial service will be held on Friday at 2pm at the Pleasant Cross Christian Church Cemetery in Franklinville with Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Surviving is his brother Jerry V. Vickers of Franklinville, NC and Sister Wanda V. Cleckler of Tylertown, Mississippi. The family will receive friends at the graveside after the service.
