Doyle Ochletree Harrington, age 98 of Broadway, died Thursday (11/18/2021) at Sanford Senior Living.  He was born on May 3, 1923, son of the late Doyle Graham Harrington and Bessie Gaster Harrington.  Doyle was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church.  Graveside funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday at Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Houston officiating.  The family will receive friends at the family home.  Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Charlye Arnette Harrington of the home.  Daughter, Marsha Harrington Whittington and husband Rob of Garner, NC.  Son, Wiley Doyle Harrington and wife Barbara of Broadway, NC.  Grandchildren, Cassie Lynch and husband Derrick Lynch, Clayton Harrington, Shane Whittington, Natalie Whittington and three great-grandchildren.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
