Durwood Eugene "Woody" Jones, age 60 of Broadway, died Monday (3/13/2017). He was born on February 7, 1957, son of Norwood Eugene Jones and the late Joyce Jean Moore Jones. He was preceded in death by his mother and his sister Wanda Jones Faulk. Memorial services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway with Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Surviving is his father, Norwood Jones of Broadway. Daughter, Erin Beasley and husband Josh of Sanford. Sister, Christine Nowell of Sanford, Brother Brian Keith Jones of Monroe and grandchildren Alexander Cole Beasley and Lillian Kate Beasley. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00am Friday, one hour prior to the memorial service at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.
