Edward Charles Whitaker, age 50, died on Thanksgiving Day (11/24/2016) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. He was born in Orange County, California on September 16, 1966 to the late Robert and Yvonne Whitaker. Ed enjoyed talking about politics and cars. He loved animals, especially his cats. He is survived by his three brothers, Gary Whitaker of Pittsburgh, PA, Miles Whitaker of Sanford and Phillip Whitaker of Scottsdale, AZ. He also leaves behind many loving sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. A private family service will be held at a later date.
