Elinor Thomas McNair Guerard, age 87 of Sanford, died Monday (2/15/2016) at Genesis Healthcare in Siler City. She was born on April 18, 1928, daughter of the late Kenneth William McNair and Lura Thomas McNair. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Godin Guerard Jr. and son, Harold "Mac" Guerard III. She was a member of the Juniper Springs Baptist Church. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Surviving are her daughters Lura Guerard of Sanford, NC, Marian Triplett of Greensboro, NC and Lucy Tucker and husband Bill of Sanford, NC; Son Judson Guerard and wife Sally of Bakersville, NC and five grandchildren.
