Elizabeth Spivey Harrington, age 91 of Broadway, passed away on Wednesday (7/7/2021) at her home.  She was born on January 20, 1930, daughter of the late Ray Lemon Spivey and Ora Kelly Spivey.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Brown Harrington grandson, Phillip Farrar, brothers, Roger Spivey,  Billy Spivey and Terry Spivey.  Elizabeth was a member of the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church.  She loved to cook, work in her yard and was a loving mother, grandmother and she loved her grand pups.    Funeral service will be conducted at 11am Saturday at the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church with Rev. Doug Houston officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Surviving are her sons, Thomas Brown Harrington, Michael D. Harrington and wife Cyndi, Gary Lee Harrington and wife Frances, Pat Harrington and wife Jewel of Broadway, NC and daughter Joy Harrington Farrar and husband Wayne of Lillington, NC.    Sisters, Peggy Lou Thomas of Sanford, NC and Delores Fuzzell and husband Norman of Fleming Island, Fl.  Brother, Kelly Spivey and wife Kay of Durham, NC.  Grandchildren, Scott Wilder, Lee Harrington, Matt Harrington, Drew Harrington, Blake Harrington, Robert Farrar, Caitlin Brown, Michael Harrington and eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.    The family will receive friends following the service in the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church, PO Box 1302 Broadway, NC 27505.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
