Frances Leslie Bowland Maynard, age 79, of Lillington passed away on October 22, 2025.    She was born August 3, 1946, daughter of Walter "Buddy" Francis Bowland and Martha Morflak Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Charlie Bowland, grandson, Brandon Hill and step-father James Cook. Frances loved to sew and loved a good cup of coffee. She loved raspberry jam with almost anything. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grand-children.  Frances is survived by her daughters, Windy Hill (Brent) of Lillington, NC, Rachel Maynard (Christopher Crenshaw) of Fayetteville and Janet Seybert of Lillington, NC; sister, Bonnie Cook of Montgomery, Alabama; grandchildren, Tiffany Lambert (Josh), Nicholas Taylor (Jessica), Daniel Motes (Autumn), Christian Thaui (Austin), Christopher Seybert, (Latasha),  Amanda Hall, Karl Seybert (Ashley),  David Seybert (Allison) ; twenty-one great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  Services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the funeral home or to a charity of one's choice.    Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home, Broadway Inc.
