Frank H. Thomas, Sr. age 86 of Sanford passed away on Saturday (3/12/2016) at the First Health Hospice of Moore County. He was born January 14, 1930, son of the late Herbert Thomas and Elizabeth Underwood Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Nancy Campbell Thomas. Services will be conducted at 12:00PM on Tuesday (3/15/2016) at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sammy Hall and Rev. Brooks Howard, Officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memory Gardens, Sanford,NC He is survived by two daughters; Connie Sue Thomas Batista of Clayton, NC and Sandra Mae Thomas Brock of Mt. Olive, NC; One Son Frank H. Thomas, Jr. (Kristy) of Sanford, NC; One sister; Mary Francis Ridenhour, of Mt. Pleasant, NC and eleven grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
