Gary Lee Weicht, age 72 of Sanford, NC, died Wednesday (7/27/2016) at his home. He was born in Bedford, PA, son of the late Ross E. Weicht and Julia Smith Weicht. He was preceded in death by his parents, was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, and was a Mason. A memorial service will be held on August 27th, 2016 in Pennsylvania. Surviving is his wife Sheila Reynolds of the home; Daughters Tammy Reeve, Vikki Stickel, Sheri Mowry, Julie Weicht and Nicole Burket all of Pennsylvania. Step-children Jennifer Howard of Apex, NC and Jerrod Lilly of Sanford, NC. Sister Bonnie Nunamaker of Pennsylvania and Brother Ernie Weicht of Maryland; Fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations are made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38109.
